Parallel Universes

Published by danni at 8:26 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

Do you think they exist?

The semantic point we should deal with is “if the universe is “all existing things regarded as a whole” then isn’t it true by definition that there is only one.” What do you think?

BBC claims all I am going to blog to be true:

Scientists now believe there may be an infinite number of parallel universes and we just happen to live in one of them. It all started when the Superstring theory, hyperspace and dark matter made physicists realize that three dimensions to describe the universe may not be enough. That there may be eleven dimensions. Crazy right? What would you think or do if it was true? Now imagine what would happen if two dimensions crossed.

Neil Turok from Cambridge, Burt Ovrut from the University of Pennsylvania and Paul Steinhardt from Princeton believe that this has already happened. It happended to create our universe otherwise known as the big bang theory. Of course the question is now could it happen again? What are your opinions on this?
